Anglia Hornets Hockey Club were formed in 2000 in Cambridge. The team was made up from a collection of people who used to represent the local university side - the Anglia Leg-ends. The team was created as an invitational touring side that competes during the summer periods when normal league hockey has finished.

Although the team began in Cambridge, it now has no 'official base' and as such, the Hornets are the world's first 'internet-based' hockey club!

The team competes in two-three tours annually and boasts members from all over the world. The approach of the club is to be competitive but not at the expensive of having fun!
