Tour Report
Success breeds success and another undefeated weekend has come and gone. Third place in the Bath Festival went to the Hornets but it could so easily have been much more. The results from the weekend are below:
- Pool 1: vs Usual Suspects W3-1 (Kellog x2, Riley)
- Pool 1: vs Bosburys W4-1 (Kellog x2, MJ, Norris)
- Pool 1: vs Penge Scouts & Brownies W2-0 (Cat, Ellie)
- Pool 1: vs Bad Night at the Bar D1-1 (Ross)
- Pool 1: vs Leo Sayer Alldayers W5-0 (Kellog x2, Scott, Cat, MJ)
- 3rd Place Play-off: vs Dangerous Dwarfs W4-0 (Kellog, Cat, Scott, MJ)
Due to the bizarre system and despite winning the group the Hornets only qualified for the 3rd place Playoff. Clearly the victims of a tough league. The match was a breeze and despite the success it left everyone wondering why there wasn't a final to follow! Roll on Stratford.
