Tour Report

This year's Easter tour saw the Hornets return to Southamption after a one year break (to celebrate the 10th year of touring). The destination was to be Trojans Hockey Club in Southampton - former haunt of original Hornet Andy Potapa. The weather was double wet and cold, then warm and balmy and the results were mixed too! No silverware this time around as the Hornets lost a random play-off somewhere around the middle of the rankings.

• Mixed Pool: W9-0 (Gemma x3, Snowy x2, Ellie x2, Emma, MJ)
• Mixed Pool: W3-0 (Riley x2, Ellie)
• Mixed Pool: L0-2 (Emma missed a PF)
• Mixed Pool: W2-1 (MJ, Neil)
• Play-Off: L1-3 (Nat)

But the Hornets have never been ones to concentrate as much on the pitch as in the bar - and this tour was no exception. Some great new additions to the squad helped the drinking remain very much the primary focus of the weekend...
