With the forecast of rain, heavy rain and wet & shitty rain for the whole weekend the plan of taking on London's finest clubs at Battersea Park was looking less and less fun. Luckily the weather man was totally incompetent and any rain had decided to drop elsewhere. A scratch, but rather professional, team of aging stars was put out from the 1s through 4s with the aim of getting drunk and playing 'sexy' hockey. Things went amazingly to plan as the team went from strength to strength and ended up walking away with 3rd place. Only narrowly beaten on flicks by the eventual winners in the crossover game. The results speak for themselves.

• Tulse Hill vs Wayfarers W3-3 (Will, Warren, Fez) - game conceeded by Wayfarers as they cheated on one of their goals!

Congratulations to all involved - especially those who dragged themselves out in fancy dress on the saturday night - and thanks to Kit for standing in on day 2 for Chris Richmond who picked up an injury defending the goal without regard for his own personal safety!
