Having escaped relegation from Division 8 by the skin of our teeth, the THD 6's are looking forward to another season of alcoholism and minor exercise. Better known for our antics off the pitch than on, we nonetheless never fail to put out a team (although there is no guaranteeing they will all be sober). Despite some of us having not touched a hockey stick since school, we all know which end is up, even if the rest of the rules are a little hazy. We can be competitive when required (we stayed up on the back of a storming 5-1 defeat of Epsom) but we are all able to see the funny side. Who knows, we might even remember how to score goals this season! |
